I’m Meriwether — owner and designer of Meriwether Designs, a full-service wedding stationery and signage studio based in Raleigh, North Carolina.
My journey into the wedding industry began in 2014 when I created hand-lettered signage for my brother’s wedding. That small project sparked something I didn’t even realize I was looking for, and I truly haven’t looked back since. What started as a creative outlet quickly grew into a side business, and eventually, a dream career I never imagined for myself or my family. After five years of building Meriwether Designs alongside a corporate role, I made the leap to full-time in 2023.
As both a designer and business owner, providing a seamless, full-service experience is incredibly important to me. I care deeply about creating high-quality, thoughtfully designed pieces - but just as much about making the process enjoyable and stress-free. I believe wedding planning should feel exciting, not overwhelming, and I love helping my clients feel confident and supported every step of the way.
I believe every detail matters, and I genuinely get giddy dreaming up designs for my clients. Seeing everything come to life - especially when those images come back from your photographer - feels a little like Christmas morning every time. I can’t wait to connect with you, hear your story, and create something truly beautiful together

Working with Meriwether Designs for both our invitations and signage was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding! We used Meriwether Designs for our day of signage (menus, seating chart, table numbers etc). Everything came together so well, better than we could have ever imagined! Meriwether was very easy to work with. Everything was cohesive and eye catching and felt true to our style. Our seating chart stole the show! We would recommend her to anyone who is looking for quality designs for events.
